Membership Types and Fees

Please Note: Effective July 1, 2009, members who fail to renew before their membership lapses will be subject to a $25 late renewal fee. Please renew promptly to avoid this!
Professional Membership - $235 USD
To qualify for professional membership you must be a licensed Chiropractor, Dentist, Medical Doctor, Medical Homeopath, Medical Naturopath, Osteopath, Psychologist, Psychotherapist or Veterinarian who offers biofeedback as described on the BANA website or natural therapies as listed on the NTANA website as part of your professional services. These services may be delivered by you personally, by your employees or by contract services providers functioning under your license and supervision.
Professional Members receive all of the Benefits of Membership. Associate Members do not receive a subscription to the Journal, Certification as a Natural Medicine Supervisor or the Prepaid Conflict Resolutions Benefit Package.
Note: You are advised to require employees and associates to obtain their own professional (malpractice) and general liability insurance through the Biofeedback Association of North America (BANA) or The Natural Therapies Association of North America (NTANA).
Application for Professional Membership without Insurance
Associate Membership - $75.00 USD
Associate members receive all of the benefits appertaining to their membership status. The Benefits Package also includes Optional Benefits available to all IMANT members.
Optional Professional Insurance
This insurance is available only in the USA and Canada except for Quebec. If you live outside this area and would like to explore the insurance possibilities, please contact our Benefits Manager.
To qualify for professional membership with professional and general liability insurance benefits you must be a licensed in Canada or the USA as a Chiropractor, Dentist, Medical Doctor, Medical Homeopath, Medical Naturopath, Osteopath, Psychologist, Psychotherapist or Veterinarian who provides only biofeedback professional services and counseling appropriate to your profession. This policy does not cover physicians who prescribe pharmaceuticals as part of their biofeedback or natural therapy professional services.
